“Why buy it when you can build it” was the philosophy Ben Gilliom adopted in small-town Indiana. Helping on his father’s farm is where he first learned to work with raw materials like steel and wood. For decades, he’s continued to learn, design, create and sell his work through commissions, online stores and local galleries.
All our furniture and micro-dwellings are designed and hand-crafted with sustainability in mind, using salvaged and quality materials. We value uniqueness, affordability, simplicity, nature and people. Our workshop and gallery is in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
We have an amazing local community of support, and we’re excited to expand our community through our online store.

Your purchases help support Dwell Well Community, a grassroots movement determined to provide safe, affordable & beautiful micro dwellings for the young adult homeless in our community in Northeast Indiana.
We are working to create change in local policy and zoning that will clear the way for people to establish residence in micro-dwellings and/or provide affordable housing to those in need of renting them. We desire to duplicate this in other communities so we can reduce homelessness in your neighborhood too.
